All our Treat lines are tried & tested by our own quality & taste controllers -our 2 German Shorthaired Pointers – Gunner & Syd. They both take their job roles very seriously so if they approve, the products go on the website for all our lovely furry friends to enjoy.
The reason for starting ‘A Dogs Life Gourmet Deli Treats & Accessories’ was because over the years we have trawled the shelves of pet shops on the hunt for products that were of nutritional value & wouldn’t upset our dogs tummies. We are so conscious of what we give our dogs to eat and we stay away from any artificial flavours and preservatives. We think generally over the years we are becoming more aware of what we feed our dogs and how poor diet and processed treats/chews can actually affect their overall health not just their waistlines!
After a lot of trial & error we have come up with a tasty 100% Natural range that not only agreed with them, but also provided enrichment and added nutritional benefits, keeping them happy, healthy, and mentally satisfied.
We use several different suppliers that are thoroughly researched so that we can make sure all products come from ethical manufacturers. All of our products are sourced within the EU, with most being sourced from the UK.
We try where possible to keep plastic to a minimum, so we pack our items in either paper bags or loose, therefore there may be some transfer of grease onto the bag or box by the time you receive your order. We advise that you store your items in an airtight sealable container once received.
